Paper lamp - Butterfly

The inventive minds of Silvia Bosio and Paolo Bonaccorsi have recently generated W-Lamp"creative Company Start Up" based in Cagliari, our main activity is designing and creating lamps and furniture out of laser cut paper and card board. The first prototype came to be in September 2013 looking for a Christmas gift box for wine bottles. After many hours of brainstorming they saw the light, literally! They came up with a gift box that could be turned into a lamp, thus turning a simple container into an object of design, a multifaceted item worth keeping. They experimented and found that laser cutting technology yielded great results, and inspired by their first model they decided to name the brand W_Lamp (where “w” stands for wine).
